Cheewa James is a sought after keynote speaker and workshop
trainer, having worked with associations and corporations
across the United States and Canada.
Degreed in the area of communication, Cheewa is especially
known for her presentations on dealing with change and
finding a balanced lifestyle. Her programs center on leadership
and motivating others.
With a name like Cheewa, there has to be something different
going on. Cheewa is enrolled with the Modoc Tribe of Oklahoma
and was born on the Klamath Indian
Reservation in Oregon. Although addressing contemporary,
cutting edge business and training issues, Cheewa often
uses Native American thinking to illustrate a point. She
creates a feel for diversity in a very subtle way. True
to her American Indian heritage, she is known as a master
storyteller.
Her keynotes are not only unique in style, but rich in

we enjoy, we grow." Cheewa's audiences learn
how to make changes bringing about a more fulfilling
professional and personal life.
As a former trainer for Bob Nelson (1001 Ways to
Motivate Employees), Cheewa helps organizations and
corporations create achievers by using powerful reward
and recognition tools. She stresses the importance
of goal setting and consistency.
Her half-day or full-day "Leap to Leadership: Principles
of Eagles" training programs are highly
interactive and give participants "how-to" techniques
they can use immediately.
