Located
in the Texas Hill Country between Fredericksburg and Stonewall,
Becker Vineyards was established in 1992 by Richard and
Bunny Becker.
The winery, located in a 19th century German stone barn
reproduction, is surrounded by grazing quarterhorses and
fields of lavender.
The
Tasting Room offers an inviting atmosphere with its large,
working stone fireplace and an antique bar

originally from the Green Tree Saloon in San Antonio,
Texas.
A
group tour consists of touring the winery, wine cellar
and tasting of 6 Becker Vineyards at $3 per person.
Touring the winery and wine cellar allows visitors to
see how wine is made at Becker Vineyards. During the
wine cellar tour, visitors see the barrels where the
aging process for Becker wines takes place.
During the tasting of 6 wines, Becker Vineyards staff
will talk about each wine, the aromatics, the flavor
profile, and food pairings.

For
group tours, catering can also be arranaged at The Lavender
Haus Reception Hall at Becker Vineyards. Becker Vineyards
has an onsite coordinator who can assist with elaborate
dinners or casual luncheons.
Visitors
can also purchase cheese baskets and a bottle of wine
to enjoy on the winery verandah as well as attend different
winery events like the Annual Grape Stomp after harvest,
Wine & Wildflowers in April, Annual Lavender Fest
in May.
Becker Vineyards is also invited to participate in Wine
Fests across the state as well as wine dinners at well
known restaurants.
