Bass Lake
is located 47
miles northeast
of Fresno.
halfway between
Los
Angeles
and San Francisco.
Nestled among
the tall pine trees of the Sierra National Forest, this charming lake is
host to the American bald eagle in the spring and summer.
It
is 4 miles long, one half mile wide and offers lodging,
camping, art galleries, restaurants, boat rental,

ski, fishing and pontoon boats, Jet Ski, canoe and kayaks.
During the summer, enjoy water sports, horse back riding,
hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, golf and

lake is home to 16 species including kokanee salmon and rainbow trout.

is a historic park and museum to explore, a melodrama theater,
guided tours and narrow gauge railroad that take you on
a four mile excursion at Yosemite Park's south gate.
In the winter, snowmobiles
are available and nearby Yosemite provides breathtaking

outdoor ice skating rink.
